Arminianism and the Star that Fell From Heaven

The Reformers would not recognise as Protestant almost the whole of that which today calls itself such, so successful has been that device known by the Jesuits as "the sovereign drug Arminianism", with Reformed soteriology (Calvinism) and eschatology (historicism) now confined to the periphery of professing Protestantism, marginalised, outcast, and mocked as outdated and irrelevant.

However, this article seeks to show that the Reformational doctrines of sovereign grace were (a) always present in the Lord's church transcendent, right throughout the Old Testament and on into the New Testament era, the early church, the falling away that brought on the Antichurch of Rome, and then the Dark Ages up until the Reformation began, and (b) will finally assume the dominant role within professing Christianity to such a degree as to exclusively define it.

Right on Time, the West Starts to Forsake Israel

An increasingly visible surge in dislike for Israel and its cause amidst western conservatives is presently underway, having really started to gain momentum in the aftermath of Israel's response to the October 2023 Hamas attacks.

The groundwork for this new trend began years ago, back when alternative news outlets online started to expose some of the admittedly grotesque things Jewish authors have been saying about us Gentiles over the years, as well as exposing wealthy Jewish control over mainstream media and their support for / instigation of many abominable social engineering enterprises in western society.

This exposure process has, of course, conditioned us to succumb to a subsequent "confirmation bias", which the left-leaning western media (ironically directed by wealthy Jews and for reasons best known only to them) has been only too happy to cultivate by highlighting Israeli atrocities in Gaza of late.

The upshot is not just a tidal wave of anti-Israeli sentiment from the Left (which was always there, by default), but now from much or even most of the Right as well, setting in motion a dynamic calling for Israel to be cut loose and left to solve its own problems.

Church History Foretold with the Seven Churches in Asia (Historicist Model)

Before Dispensationalism gained traction in the 1800s and appropriated to itself (as some would argue) the concept of the seven churches in Asia referring to church history from Apostolic times until the Lord's return, Protestantism had largely subscribed to that very concept for around three centuries, it being a staple doctrine of the English Puritans, among others.

This article is a modern historicist revisiting of Revelation 2 and 3, covering:

• Ephesus ("desire" or "remissness"): the early Apostolic church during the pagan Roman Empire.
• Smyrna ("myrrh", i.e. bitterness): a decade-long (i.e. "ten days" ~ Revelation 2:10) brutalisation of the church at the hands of pagan Rome during the Diocletianic Persecution (February 303 - February 313).
• Pergamos ("lifted up"): from Constantine's Edict of Milan in February 313 until Daniel 7's Little Horn received three kingdoms plucked up by the roots (promised in 756, brought to fruition in 765), hence the era is book-ended by two "lifting up" events; in between, "Satan's seat" appeared in the form of the emergence of the Antichurch, made clear by the bishops of Rome first calling themselves "Papa" (Pope) with Damasus I in 366, and thereby the bishops of Rome had also begun to be "lifted up", but in a manner that would see them become increasingly proud and haughty in their claims.
• Thyatira ("a daughter", perhaps suggestive of the Woman (the hidden true church)): from the apotheosis of the Papacy in 765 until the Reformation (ca. 1517); this era began with the Woman's arrival in the spiritual wilderness and it closed with the arrival of the "morning star" that was the Reformation; despite that happy development, it was very much paid lip-service to, leaving the Woman to largely continue in the wilderness until Philadelphia begins.
• Sardis ("emboldening" and / or "a remnant"): from the Reformation until the conversion of the Jews at the end of the Seven Last Plagues brings "life from the dead" (Romans 11:15) to a doubly dead Sardian church (Revelation 3:1 and Revelation 11:7-8), so dead, in fact, that it thinks it is Laodicea, a delusion brought upon it as part of a wider judgment (Revelation 3:3) entailing eschatological blindness (as depicted in Revelation 10's prohibition on John disclosing the contents of the seven thunders), for departing from the soteriology, form of worship, and the eschatological model, of the Reformation.
• Philadelphia ("brotherly love"): from the Great (geopolitical) Earthquake of Revelation 11:13 and 16:18 until Daniel 2:34's "stone cut out without hands" grows into a mountain that fills the whole world. This will be the age of no wars, no famines, no plagues, just Spirit-infused Christians, purity and unity of doctrine, all-pervading success of the Gospel of Grace, nations ruled by the godly in unprecedented liberty, prosperity and liberal dissemination of cures, all out of filial love for mankind and great love for the Godhead.
• Laodicea ("the judging of the people"): a final, brief aberration that quickly repents and returns to the Philadelphian condition, right before Christ's literal second coming and Judgment Day.

The Satanic Beasts of Revelation (Historicist Model)

This is a major update of Reformed and Puritan treatments of the Satanic beasts of Revelation and draws heavily on, but corrects the key errors of, The Red Republic by Alexander Hislop, as well as developments in geopolitics since Reformed times.

• Daniel 7's 4^th Beast: a synopsis of the three major Satanic beasts in Revelation, which are actually phases of THIS synoptic beast.
• PHASE 1 = The Great Red Dragon of Rev 12: this refers to the pagan Roman Empire, its machinations against the church, its just ruin and Satan's angry reaction to its demise.
• PHASE 2 = The Beast from the Sea of Rev 13: this is the western European realm under nominally Christian rulership and spans approximately the whole of the Thyatira and Sardis church ages; it is the world's pre-eminent civilisational bloc, always seen as unassailable to the rest of the world, but under the thrall of apostate Christian influence for most of its existence, during which time the Woman (the true church) would be hidden in the spiritual wilderness, marginalised, scarcely seen or heard.
• Revelation 13's Two-Horned Beast: this is also known as "the False Prophet" and consists of the ungodly clergy, educators, media stars, and anyone and everyone of influence promoting the beast system's narratives.
• Revelation 13's Image of the Beast: The False Prophet compels the masses to create an Image that it brings to life, and that Image demands worship for itself as well as the masses to receive a Mark to continue participation in commerce, upon pain of "death"; the Image and the Mark are ALWAYS tied together in Revelation (in ch 13, 14, 15, 16, and 19) and the latter shows the bearer to be a worshipper of the former; the Image is a symbol of all the "articles of faith" or "objects of worship" of the beast system in any given locale, i.e., its evil value set and the Mark is any expression of loyalty to it.
• PHASE 3 = The Scarlet Beast from the Bottomless Pit of Rev 11 & 17: this is the western bloc under an atheistic, hyper socialist, globalist, post-nation-statist (crypto communist) form, with none of the member governments holding true sovereignty of their own, but instead serving as frontmen for the hidden ruling elites. This phase to last a few short years before it is destroyed under the seventh and final of the Seven Last Plagues.

Why the Age of Missionaries was NOT the Philadelphian Church Age (Historicist Model)

Among the many modern Protestants who, while rightly rejecting Dispensationalism, adhere to the Reformational historicist view of the church ages in Revelation 2-3, by far most have been long exposed to Jesuit futurist teachings on prophecy, and so tainted by Counter-Reformation Arminianism's views of God and godliness, have been beguiled into the fantasy that the "age of missionaries" of the 1800s was the Philadelphian era, and that it now being past, we must be at last in Laodicea.

However, despite some performing missionary work under a Reformed banner (most notably William Carey), the age of missionaries (i.e. the 1800s) was the era in which the Reformed faith nosedived as it carelessly fellowshipped with Arminians, forsook the Regulative Principle of Worship more and more, and espoused a Romish-originated eschatology (futurism) at the expense of its longstanding historicist model, perhaps in no small part aided by the disaster that was historicist expositor William Miller's Great Disappointment of 1844; all of the foregoing debacles place the 1800s well within the Sardis church era's suite of condemnations from from Christ, outliers and exceptions notwithstanding.

On that basis, and on numerous others, the age of the missionaries is disqualified from being the Philadelphian church age, which implies that Philadelphia still lies ahead.
